WUCA Event Raises Over $22,000 for Make-A-Wish Wisconsin

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin (MAW) can be a game-changer for a child with a life-threatening medical condition. MAW’s mission is to grant wishes that change the lives of the kids they serve. It’s the founding principle of their vision to grant the wish of every eligible child. Wishes impact everyone involved – wish kids, volunteers, donors, sponsors, medical professionals and communities. The impact varies. For wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage to comply with their medical treatments. Parents might finally feel like they can be optimistic. And still others might realize all they have to offer the world through volunteer work or philanthropy. Whatever the odds, whatever the obstacles, wishes find a way to make the world better.

In an effort to make the world better, the Wisconsin Underground Contractors Assocition conducted a fundraiser on October 26, 2017 at the Rustic Manor in Delafield, Wisconsin to benefit MAW. WUCA has done so for over 20 years raising over $700,000 for MAW and other charities. Money that we could not raise with the support of the full WUCA membership. Many thanks to our donors and to everyone’s support of this great charity.
