Course is intended to do the following:

• Provide extensive training for supervisors, foremen and other employees on OSHA’s 1910.146 and proposed Subpart AA regulations.
• OSHA’s 1926.21(b)(6) states that “all employees required to enter a confined space shall be instructed as to the nature of the hazards involved, necessary precautions when entering, and in the use of protective and emergency equipment required.”
• Understand entry procedures for permit and non-permit confined spaces.
• Provide information, rules, regulations and methods needed in order to be a "Competent person" or to perform all confined space work safely.

The course is approved by the Dept. of Commerce for 2 hours of Continuing Education Credit for Master /Journeyman Plumbers and Master / Journeyman Res. Sewer.

Cost of the program is $80 per person for WUCA members or PW-IIP contributors. $110 per person for non-members. Registration includes student manual and instruction. Discounted rates are available for classes over 10 people. Due to the nature of course material, classes are limited to twenty (25) people per session. No refund for no-shows.

This class can be held at the WUCA office, Platt office or your office. Travel cost may apply.
